From cargo pants to neon green, this is what designers threw down the runway.

New York Fashion Week 2023

The new fashion trends for Spring 2023 emerged from the New York Fashion Week this year and, of course, the city did not disappoint. So good was the styling at New York Fashion Week that we are totally in love with all the trends that are emerging now. In fact, we’re already reviewing the integration of next year’s trends into our current closets.

In addition to showcasing the new SS23 collections, this season was punctuated with pop culture moments and plenty of innovative and fresh designs that we’ll be wearing next season. We could see the bright and stunning greens seen at Michael Kors or Fendi, wide cargo pants with pockets at the designer’s disposal, as we saw at Collina Strada and of course, lots of glitter and sequins (think Michael Kors Spring 2023 show and its red and black Old Hollywood pieces as well as Laquan Smith and its colorful and dazzling dresses).

As the dust begins to settle on the New York runways and fashion stars turn their attention to London, we’ve channeled our excitement for it all into a roundup of the top Spring 2023 trends at The New York Fashion Week.

BRIGHT GREEN

Pink shades have been the key fashion colour for the season. However, it seems there is a new colour shade for Spring 2023: bright green. Designers have been creating pieces such as gowns and suits in this amazing colour, proving that neon is a versatile colour.
