Burberry’s latest TB Summer Monogram Campaign Features Gisele Bündchen as the Main Star
Burberry’s new TB Summer Monogram collection celebrates the brand’s duality, fusing past and present.
In a move big enough to make waves in the fashion industry, Burberry recently unveiled a new evolution of the TB Summer Monogram, designed by creative director Riccardo Tisci and starring none other than enigmatic supermodel Gisele Bündchen as the new face of the brand. As a celebration of duality, the collection brings together two of Burberry’s icons, the classic check and the TB Monogram, for a collection that symbolizes the synergy between past and present.
The campaign was shot by legendary photographers Luigi & Iango, styling by Suzanne Koller and makeup by Georgi Sandev. Dressed in the latest pieces from Riccardo Tisci’s summer lineup, Bündchen is captured against a backdrop of her own unpublished portraits, which the duo had shot for her a decade ago.
Last year’s Burberry campaign featured stellar names such as Gigi Hadid, with Kendall Jenner being the star the following year, and Naomi Campbell last year. Other iconic models fronted Burberry campaigns for the brand in 2022, including Jourdann Dunn, Lourdes Leon and Ella Richards.
“I was very happy to see Riccardo again after so long and shooting with my sweet friends Luigi and Iango is always a blast,” Bündchen said. “It was very special to spend time with everyone, we had a lot of fun on set.” The model said of the campaign in a press release.
With effortlessly relaxed and confident poses, Bündchen offers a physical representation of what Burberry’s latest launch is all about: a sincere beauty that marries heritage and modernity, as the brand continues to look to the future.
The Monogram campaign itself seeks to revive the brand’s iconic heritage, combining the check pattern with the TB Monogram.
It also features a variety of women’s and men’s pieces, of course, including trench coats, silk hoodie dresses, cropped tops, eyewear with leggings, wool-blend cardigans, cotton shirts, swimsuits, high-top sneakers and sunglasses.
Menswear includes cotton sweatshirts and Oxford shirts, silk bomber jackets, hooded jackets and wool sweaters.
As for accessories, there are bucket and baseball caps, Lola and Freya bags, linen high-top and leather sneakers with contrast piping. linen, leather pointed-toe shoes with contrast piping, neoprene sandals, sunglasses and a jacquard woven towel.
