VERSACE SS 22’ Eyewear Campaign Starring Emily Ratajkowski & Maluma
Vibrant, chic, and glamorous, are words that describe the SS 22′ eyewear campaign.
Versace has launched its Spring/Summer 2022 eyewear campaign, starring supermodel Emily Ratajkowski and the Colombian singer Maluma. They have been photographed by photographers duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.
Ratajkowski and Maluma could capture the dynamism and glory proposed by the Maison for the new season. A reinterpretation of Versace’s iconic Medusa Biggie model.
Refined, cool and comfortable reinterpretation of a legendary design. The oversized feminine frame features adjustable nose pads for greater comfort, while the temples are embellished with the iconic Medusa Biggie medallion. The sunglasses model is available in gold with dark grey polarized lenses and in matt black with dark grey lenses.

This new Medusa Biggie model with an attractive style naturally expresses the concept of fame. Unisex and seductive, pilot sunglasses transform a classic design into a contemporary style statement. Versace’s iconic Medusa Biggie medallion adds traditional charm to the temples, while adjustable nose pads ensure maximum comfort. Available in gold or matte black with dark grey lenses.
Donatella Versace has proposed bold and gritty pieces, complementing in line with the two protagonists and with the new style of the entire season. The campaign has also harked back to Versace’s photographic culture, which was always based on images that leave their mark and last over time. Initially popularized by Biggie Smalls (also known as Christopher Wallace) in the mid-1990s, “the Medusa Biggie sunglasses fully live up to their iconic status, as the golden hardware is reinterpreted across a range of contemporary frames.
