Peeking at the Marriage of the Hottest Hollywood Couple!
Although the Internet was in awe of JLo & Ben Affleck, none had really anticipated their marriage. It came as a happy surprise for all of us.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married this Saturday, July 16 in Las Vegas after they got their marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And as it turns out, love is patient. Twenty years of patience,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter. “Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Las Vegas, and stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same trip to the wedding capital of the world.”
He continued, “Behind us, two men held hands and hugged. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour trip from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday. We all wanted the same thing, for the world to recognize them as partners and declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”
Jlo wore two dresses to her ceremony. One in jacquard fabric by Alexander McQueen brand, and she gave the “I do!” in a full lace gown by wedding dress brand Zuhair Murad.
Jlo wore a dress from an old movie, and Ben wore a jacket from his closet. “So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”
In April 2022, J. Lo announced her future marriage to Ben Affleck through her newsletter ‘On the JLo’. The engagement ring that brought them closer to the wedding day, a diamond in emerald cut, was in green colour (the singer’s favourite) and served as the omen of the ceremony of which, so far, the date was unknown.
The love story between singer Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck began in the early 2000s when they met during the filming of Gigli. Since they confirmed their relationship, both starred in some of the most romantic moments, leaving in their wake iconic photographs of their relationship in that decade. They got engaged in 2004, but after the media attention they received, they called it off.
Almost twenty years later, the couple revived the hope of love the day Jenny From The Block made official her relationship, for the second time with Ben Affleck, on July 24, 2021.

Affleck proposed to JLo at home while she was taking a bath. “He caught me totally off guard, and I looked into his eyes smiling and crying at the same time, trying to wrap my head around the idea that after 20 years this was happening again, I was literally speechless, and he said, ‘Is it a yes?’ I told him yes, of course, it’s a YES,” Jlo wrote.
