Kim Kardashian Joined ’90s Supermodels for SKIMS’ Latest Campaign

Kim Kardashian unveiled her latest Skims campaign, featuring Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel.

Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Heidi Klum, and Tyra Banks starred in the latest Skims underwear campaign. The four supermodels, who achieved international fame when being part of Victoria’s Secret brand, posed for a campaign called Skims Icons, with models from Skim’s “Fits Everybody” collection, which includes pieces such as bralettes, shorts and bodysuits.

Kardashian selected all of the models to star in the campaign because it showcases the models’ strength, energy and timeless charm with images that reflect the group’s enduring legacy.”

Banks, Klum, Ambrosio, and Swanepoel were among Victoria’s Secret’s most famous angels before the brand ditched the angels in 2021 and replaced them with a slate of female ambassadors.

Victoria’s Secret’s decision to ditch its angels was just one part of its massive 2021 makeover, in which the company ran more diverse and inclusive ads and toned down the tone of its stores.

To break the Internet again in true Kardashian style, the celebrity herself posted a photo on her Instagram account in which she poses next to them in her underwear. “Ok, I wasn’t supposed to appear in the Skims campaign, but I stopped by and snuck in because it was too iconic. Meet Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice wearing our iconic Skim’s Fits Everybody collection,” she posted on her Instagram account.

“What fun it’s been shooting with @tyrabanks @alessandraambrosio and @candiceswanepoel for the new @skims “Fits Everybody collection”. It’s been a while since we’ve all been together so it was really special to get together. Thank you @kimkardashian for making it happen,” commented Heid Klum.

“The posse you never knew you needed…��,” posted the youngest of the group, Candice Swanepoel.

“When @KimKardashian called me with the idea to reunite these incredible women and me for @SKIMS, I was intrigued. And here we are! I hadn’t modeled lingerie and undergarments since I retired from the runway, but it was like riding a bike. The poses came back even fiercer than before!” Tyra Banks posted on Instagram after the shoot.
