Critics Choice Awards red carpet

Awards season is back with a vengeance and full of the hottest moments and hottest looks. Last week we had the chance to experience the Golden Globes and this time Hollywood’s biggest stars brought their best style to the red carpet of the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

The show featured multiple famous faces and several well-deserving award winners. And if we’re talking about fashion, it was a treat. From Anya Taylor-Joy dressed in an incredible tan Dior look to Kate Hudson in Givenchy, the red carpet was one for the books. From sleek ensembles, sheer and shimmering dresses and a plethora of cut-out looks, the stars arrived dressed to the nines. In a trend seen on recent red carpets, Elle Fanning and Janelle Monáe were among several stars who wore cut-out dresses.

Award-winning comedian Chelsea Handler was the grand host of the ceremony, which honored the best achievements in film and television programming in 2022. In addition, the ceremony also took the opportunity to recognize singer Janelle Monáe with the SeeHer Award for her contributions as an activist for gender equality and challenging stereotypes.

Without going any further, here are the best dressed stars of the ceremony.

Elle Fanning

‘The Great’ star Elle Fanning clearly isn’t tired of wearing a corset — or of making it look thoroughly chic. The actress chose a cream bustier gown with plenty of structure and cut-out detail from Alexander McQueen’s most recent collection. She paired it with jewels by Irene Neuwirth, including the designer’s one-of-a-kind Golden Blossom Sunflower earrings, and Christian Louboutin’s gold So Kate pumps.
