The British Fashion Awards 2022 returned this year, bringing together our favourite celebrities at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The ceremony was magnificent, with musical performances by Jessie Ware, and Olivia Dean and a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth with top British brands. The annual ceremony also paid tribute to the most stylish men and women from across the pond.

Undoubtedly, what people care about at the fashion awards is what’s next: the red carpet and celebrating the winners. For the BFC 2022 competition, nominees were chosen by 1,000 global fashion industry professionals. Among the nominees was Miuccia Prada for Miu Miu, JW Anderson for Loewe, Matthieu Blazy for Bottega and Raf Simmons for Prada.

This year’s Independent British Brand honoree was Grace Wales Bonner.  Burberry won the Metaverse Design Award. The Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator went to Katie Grand, and as expected, supermodel Bella Hadid won the “Model of the Year” award.

Florence Pugh, who has long been dressing the brand, presented Pierpaolo Piccioli with the “Designer of the Year” award for Maison Valentino. “Creativity wins. Our value wins. This win belongs both to me and to everyone who works for Valentino,” Piccioli said of his victory.

And, of course, the red carpets always give us a lot to talk about. The likes of Florence Pugh, who wore a stunning red Valentino gown, Naomi Campbell and Paloma Elsesser attended the 2022 BFA ceremony alongside Jourdan Dunn, Adu Akech and Irina Shayk, they hit the red carpet wearing elegant and classy looks.

ELSA HOSK

Elsa Hosk wore a floral embellished, double-belted set and a matching maxi skirt by Miu Miu. The dress also featured diamanté studs.

FLORENCE PUGH

Florence Pugh looked stunning on the red carpet wearing a scarlet Valentino gown, which featured a full, voluminous skirt and a dramatic train behind her. She completed the look with Tiffany & Co. jewellery.

PALOMA ELSESSER

Model Paloma Elsesser opted for a sheer black ensemble encompassing a high neck and ruffle details.

JOURDAN DUNN

Model Jourdan Dunn tunned a few heads at the British Fashion Awards 2022. She wore a daring nude bodysuit with prints by Stephane Rolland. Jourdann also teamed the skin tight number up with an oversized black maxi skirt featuring a lengthy train while accessorizing with silver drop earrings.

NAOMI CAMPBELL

Supermodel Naomi Campbell hit the night wearing a metallic silver pleated Valentino gown, which featured an attached cape.

IRINA SHAYK

Irina Shayk opted for a floor-length sequin H&M gown, which featured a tight bodice and accentuated waist. She completed the look with matching flats and suede pumps.

LILA MOSS

Lila Moss hit at the British Fashion Awards wearing a sheer silk black off-the-shoulder Knwls gown. The dress featured plenty of cutouts, an open back and a flowing train. She completed the look with opera gloves.
