Blake Lively’s Blake Brown Makes Its Debut at Target
Blake Lively’s new Blake Brown hair care line has arrived at Target, bringing a touch of luxury and sustainability to your beauty routine.
Blake Lively, renowned for her chic style and glamorous red carpet appearances, has expanded her brand beyond Hollywood and sparkling beverages with her new hair care line, Blake Brown. Fans of the actress can now indulge in luxurious, salon-quality products both online and in stores. To sweeten the deal, shoppers can save $5 on purchases of $30 or more in personal care items, including Blake Brown, through August 10th.
Blake Brown’s inaugural collection includes eight meticulously crafted products, ranging from $19 to $25. This lineup features liquid and dry shampoos, pre- and post-wash hair masks, leave-in conditioner, and styling mousse. Each product is designed to nourish, hydrate, and strengthen hair, utilizing a proprietary plant protein complex that cleanses while minimizing frizz and enhancing shine. Blake Lively aimed to offer high-end performance without the steep price tag, achieving a balance between quality, affordability, and sustainability.
The collection stands out with its sophisticated fragrances, blending sweet, earthy, and musky notes like vanilla, amber, blackcurrant, fig, cardamom, and sandalwood. Blake wanted the scents to resemble luxury perfumes, adding a touch of elegance to the hair care routine.
Blake Brown also emphasizes clean beauty and sustainability. The vegan formulas are free from sulfates, silicones, parabens, SLS, synthetic dyes, and mineral oils. The products come in metallic, honeycomb-like packaging made from recycled materials, highlighting the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Blake Lively shared that she wanted these products to be cleaner and more sustainable than those she used before, ensuring they met her high standards for both quality and eco-friendliness.
The development of Blake Brown, a project seven years in the making, involved close collaboration with Give Back Beauty, the same incubator behind Millie Bobby Brown’s Florence by Mills. Blake was deeply involved in every stage, from product formulation to fragrance selection, ensuring that the brand reflected her vision of luxury, affordability, and sustainability. The name Blake Brown honors Lively’s late father, Ernie Lively, adding a personal touch to the brand.
Corrado Brondi, founder of Give Back Beauty, praised Blake’s dedication and vision, noting that her involvement in every aspect of the brand was instrumental in its creation. Blake Brown offers a blend of quality, affordability, and environmental consciousness, making it a standout addition to the hair care market.
