The 2022 Billboard Music Awards marked a return to more daring red carpet dressing.
The most-anticipated music event, the Billboard Music Awards 2022 took place last night in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Many of our favourite celebrities were dressed to the nines in stunning, glamorous and sexy red carpet gowns and suits.
The event came less than two weeks after the Met Gala and less than six weeks since the 2022 Grammys. So, many celebrities who attended either or both events already brought out some of their best efforts when it comes to red carpet style. But many still found a way to dig deep and bring a new look to their BBMAs ensemble. From Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, Annita’s glamorous Fendace gown (Versace and Fendi collab), to Doja Cat’s Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, among other celebs.
Welcoming some of music’s hottest (and most stylish) names – including US hip-hop Travis Scott and Megan Thee Stallion – the BBMAs saw stars channelling an offbeat vibe on the red carpet, marking a sharp contrast with the classic and elegant looks sported at this year’s Met Gala or the 2022 Oscars runway.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly
Megan Fox showed her stunning hourglass figure with a black strapless David Koma gown and opera gloves, while Machine Gun Kelly wore a spiked-trimmed Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Anitta
Brazilian superstar, Anitta looked amazing in a Fendace gown (Versace and Fendi collab).
Doja Cat
Doja Cat looks elegant wearing a “full” Schiaparelli Haute Couture look designed by Daniel Roseberry. The corset had sharp upward spikes on either side and was almost entirely topless. Doja Cat also wore gold pasties by Agent Provocateur and a nude sheer fabric over her chest which cascaded into a train. She also wore nail rings by Bijules, giant ear-shaped earrings, toe-shaped shoes, and a purse in the shape of a planet.

Becky G’s short red carpet ensemble made her glow! She wore a lavender mini dress by Zuhair Murad, which featured feathers, beads and a belt, plus a pair of silver Jimmy Choo heels.
Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato
Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato looked adorable in navy blue. In their red carpet poses, the couple highlighted Luisana’s adorable baby bump.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
