2022 MTV VMAs Red Carpet: See The Most Stunning Looks
Celebrities were ready to slay and drip on the MTV VMAs red-carpet!
As the summer winds down, the 2022 MTV VMAs officially closed out the season with an incredible ceremony where our favourite celebrities were in attendance to collect trophies and shut down the red carpet! Music’s biggest stars didn’t disappoint at this year’s MTV VMAs, as they graced the red carpet with drip-ready ensembles that turned heads and quickly became viral moments.
The award ceremony took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and it saw performances by the likes of Bad Bunny and Nicki Minaj, with Jack Harlow and LL Cool J hosting.
Most celebrities choose black as the main colour for their outfit and others just rely on more creative ensembles. Taylor brought the drama and glamour to the red carpet at this year’s MTV VMAs, wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress. She was one of the first celebrities to make a fashion statement. Stars also dare to bare, with celebrities including Anitta, and Blackpink’s Jennie all flashing with their looks.
Men were also present, too, of course! They mostly bared their torsos and wore gender-fluid fashion, bringing a certain softness to the menswear ensembles, with Conan Gray, Harris Reed Ethan Torchio.

Taylor Swift
Singer Taylor Swift was the QUEEN of the evening! She wore a sparkling dress by Oscar de la Renta and completed the look with a collar of diamonds wrapped around her neck to match baubles glittering across her arms. She also wore her dark blonde hair parted down the middle and tied back, with her signature bright red lipstick highlighting her flawless features.
Sofia Carson
Sofia Carson looked amazing in an all-black Carolina Herrera ensemble.
Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X was on the spot during the evening award-event! He looked stunning wearing a sculptural Harris Reed ensemble featuring a tiered feathered skirt frame and headdress.
Jack Harlow
Nominee and host, Jack Harlow, wore a standard black suit and choose a chocolate leather ensemble, completing the look with a high-necked shirt in a similar hue.
Blackpink
Blackpink’s members Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie and Rosé graced the red-carpet in complementary all-black outfits.
Anitta
Singer Anitta looked gorgeous paying homage to Lil Kim’s famed 1999 VMAs outfit. She wore an asymmetrical red corset and an artistic nipple cover from Schiaparelli Haute Couture Collection Fall/Winter 2022.
Conan Gray
Singer Conan Gray chose to grace the runway wearing a whimsical Harris Reed ensemble with a lace-trimmed train and blazer.
Snop Dogg
Singer Snopp Dogg wore green leather separates.
